Executive Head Chef Chris Wheeler

Chris Wheeler, Executive Head Chef at Stoke Park, trained at Bournemouth Catering College and following an industrial placement at Hotel and Restaurant Domaine De Bassibe in France. Chris then went onto work with Jean Christophe Novelli at Le Provence in Lymington, Hampshire, where he also appeared on ITV’s Hell’s Kitchen.  

Chris or Chef as we all like to call him, joined Stoke Park in 2002 has received enormous praise for his food by the press, Club Members and resident guests. As a key player in the organisation, he is well known and a popular face around the Club.

Chris has forged a name for himself with his take on Modern British Cuisine with European influences. Each dish is a masterpiece, and Chris understands that the best comes from locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, this allows for creativity and variation on flavour and texture from season to season.
